The glassy crispness of this feldspathic stoneware creamer is enhanced by the use of a black ground for the cameo insets and stripe just below the neck. Cameo subjects include Venus rising and a piping shepherd with dog and admiring shepherdess.

We note a small pale surface crows foot on the underside--which does not go through--as well as some typical fine speckling on the shoulder.
