The dinner plate features a romantic scene of the Tyrol with a goatherd and his shepherdess nestled with their goats on the bank of a mountain lake. An impressive architectural complex perches on the mountain in the immediate background, while additional buildings dot the distant landscape.

Floral clusters partially framed in contrasting fretwork frame the center scene and underscore the softly scalloped shape of the dinner plate.
