An exotic pot of peonies pulls one into Wedgwood's "Edinburg" pattern. In the middle of this aesthetic arrangement we note the Edinburgh nighttime scenic vignette while on an overhead branch we see titmice singing happily away. Frame all this in an arrangement of concentric borders, the primary of which is a bold zig zag and florette pattern, and one has the graphic sum of the "Edinburg" pattern. In this case, Wedgwood has chosen a pink-ish cocoa color for the transfer with fuschia, baby blue and yellow enamel highlighting for a very summery-gardeny Grosvenor gallery effect.

Wedgwood's "Edinburg" pattern is pretty distinct in the gallery of aesthetic transfer patterns. We know of no other pattern with a similar mix of exotic aestheticism (as represented by the pot holding the peonies) and fresh air and country romance (exemplified by the scenic vignette and overhanging branch).
