This archetypal 1830's scalloped pattern is loaded with naive charm. A central study of fruit and foliage is enhanced with coordinating rim border separated by delicate tatting-like lines of decoration. The effect is at once both luscious and fresh.

"Fruit Garden" is one of a series of patterns well printed and potted, but unattributed. Based upon shape similarities, we feel one of the Ridgway Staffordshire partnerships may be found in time to be the potter.
