Swirl blank teawares decorated with simple floral sprays of magenta and gilt provided an affordable staple among the late eighteenth century offerings of Flight Worcester.  The motif is continued with a gilt sprig on the handle while gilt striping finishes the rim and foot.  

We have owned a Worcester tea bowl and saucer in this pattern marked "Flight" (1783-1792).
