A border of Roman scrollwork sets off a stark central image of the "Warwick Vase," a Roman marble brought to England in the eighteenth century. Copeland and Garrett seems to look back to Neoclassicism with the simplicity and weight of this design.

We have also owned the "Warwick Vase" border with a different center underscoring a practice of mixing borders and centers as practiced by Spode, Enoch Wood and others.
